On Thursday, May 29th 2003, We had our first Rueda de Casino Salsa Competition at Zabumba
in Los Angeles, California.
It was an impromptu
event for most of the participants. Many thanks go out to them for being good sports. Prizes were handed out in the form of cash, though all of them would merit more then what they received, it was nevertheless a recognition of their abilities and accomplishments as Salsa dancers. Those Salsa dancers who received the cash awards were recognized for specific areas in which they shine as people and as Salseros.
